As for your comments of whether the colonies should actually separate from Great Britain do not be absurd. The colonies are still very young and small if it were not for Britain they would have surely perished by now. Their economy is stable now. Why jeopardize that over something as miniscule as this?

Without that connection the colonies will disperse and be controlled by a new party. I’m sure neither Britain nor the colonies would want that. Though some believe they could stay united, it would be foolish to not think of human folly.
I would say that they could simply mend the connection with Britain, but I do not think this would be possible. The colonies would want to have their own government for ease, whereas Britain would want them to be under one authority, theirs. As Thomas Hutchinson said, “No middle ground exists ‘between the supreme authority of Parliament and the total dependence of the colonies: it is impossible there should be two independent legislatures in one and the same state.’” They would do well to remember who their mother country is and to fall back in line.
I do not know your thoughts on this, but I believe that if we stay united there would be nothing standing in our way as a country to conquer mass lands. Think of how much land you could explore if that were to occur. No need to have any worry about the native as the natives would be
