The film did not put as much effort with the emotional scenes, but the film did have a couple of scenes that had emotion. The scenes that had some emotion were actually well but together, even though the film did try to make some emotional scenes in the beginning, the strongest emotional scene was in the middle of the documentary. For example in the middle of the film it tells a story about an American nun who went to the amazon to protest and protect the rain forest, she later was killed by someone hired by the cattle company. The music in the background when…

The actors did a great job at portraying their character the only problem that I had was that at sometimes it was just a little harder to understand what they were saying up on the stage from the back of the audience. The costumes that the main character had as well as all of the rest of the characters also helped portray their characters personality as well as the time setting and…

John Williams is one of this century’s most popular and successful American orchestral composers. While best known for his film scores and ceremonial music, Williams is also a wellknown composer and conductor of concert works. He has composed the music and served as music director for nearly eighty films. His scores are lush, complex and exciting often relying heavily on brass more than strings. He has an amazing ability to craft a theme that fits the emotional tone of a film and continues to echo that theme at just the right times and levels.…

Luhrmanns film captures this idea and keeps it interesting for a contemporary film audience. In the corresponding scene, Luhrmann underscores the action with action and romantic non-diegetic music to enhance the idea young love. The casting of young actors further develops this idea. The setting becomes highly symbolic in this scene. The pool being a symbol of life and energy and the Romanesque mansion acting as a visual metaphor, bringing the old text into a new medium. Close-up shots are used prominently in tis scene to capture the pyous looks on the actors' faces. In this scene it would seem as though looks on the actor's faces. In this scene it would seem as though Luhrmann at least, believes in the idea of young infatuation and the universal nature of young love and in following one's heart and desires, in such a way he keeps this idea interesting.…

The three aspects of the film that illustrate the healing effect of story on human life are the direction, the funny scenes and the music. The way Roberto Benigni directed the film he is showing that life is not about laughter only. At first I didn't expect the film to have a lonely part, in life you don't know what is going to happen next and what to expect. One funny scene that i love is when Dora is been stung by a wasp and Guido asked her if she is stung in other places. The music of the movie is so calming and everytime I hear it I feel like I'm in a disco or a dance ball in the…

By the end of the film, cheerful music was played to show the relief and happiness characters felt due to the war ending. Lastly, the lighting of the film helped illustrate the mood of the film. Overall, the film’s techniques helped bring the story to…

The Great Debaters is an intriguing film set in the 1930s about a professor that goes by the name of Melvin Tolson who teaches students from Wiley College, in Texas, the fundamentals of debating. During this day in age, if an African American didn’t “stay in their place” they would be ridiculed for such insane behavior. One can only imagine how difficult it must have been for them to get through a debate without caring if they had crossed the line on a touchy subject. But through it all this debate team became one of the most successful teams in America. They were undefeated after they won national championships over Harvard University.…
