The holocaust was the mass murder of six million jews, and many other people leading up to, and during, Word War II. Holocaust is a Greek word origin meaning “sacrifice by fire” . The Nazis came in power in Germany in January 1933. During the era of the Holocaust, German authorities also targeted other groups because of their perceived “racial inferiority” . Other groups such as Communists, Homosexuals, Socialists, and Jehovah’s Witnesses were persecuted on political, ideological, and behavioral grounds. I believe that the Holocaust made a big impact on America in the twentieth century.…

Finally we will discuss the sociological theory that best explains this event.…
The Holocaust has been put down as one of the most awful and horrifying events in world history. It is impossible for someone to understand and see what the victims of the Holocaust had to go through. Millions of people died because someone couldn't see past the outer shell of a person and judged them because of who they were. That person was Adolf Hitler. He brain washed tons of people into agreeing in his opinion. He wanted the “perfect” race and would kill anyone in the way of his wish, like Jews, Gypsies, Poles, and people with physical or mental disabilities. He put innocent people through the absolute worst conditions and had no mercy.…
The Holocaust is one of the most known about events in the world. This is the event when Hitler took over Germany and it resulted in about 6 million deaths for the Jews. Everyone should be aware of this awful genocide so that everyone can know what to do differently if anything like this were to happen again. We continue to learn about the Holocaust because it was a tragedy that took the nation by surprise. While other Allied countries were trying to defeat Hitler they didn’t know how to since it never happened before.…
With my heart beating out of my chest, the only thing I could think of was that I did not want to die in Mexico. It was a warm sunny day as we started our ATV adventure outside of the comforts and security of the resort walls. There were 6 of us and we planned to take turns driving. When it was our turn, we could go anywhere we could get the machine. The rental guy was nice enough to loan us his personal iPod, as the machine had a stereo. The iPod was filled with Mexican music of all sorts. How fitting, we realized. What would a Mexican adventure be without the music?…
