The Holocaust: Kristallnacht Or The Night Of Broken Glass
Life was not easy when the Nazi’s were in control. The Nazi’s did a lot of bad things while they were in power. For example, On November 10th, 1938 “Kristallnacht”or the “Night of Broken Glass”, the Germans were forced to kill every Jew or to order them to do labor. Also, they had to burn every shop owned by a Jew.
Also, Nazi’s transported millions to concentration camps across Europe. Just transporting them was cruel. With a train car that normally holds 50 people, 200 people were squeezed into one car. As well, the Nazi’s were forced to pay for the transportation. Everyone besides those under the age of 4, had to pay. Transports on the train were not given food or water. Many died before reaching the camps. Jews who couldn’t work were thrown
