The Impact Of European Colonization On Europe And The New World

During the colonization of the Europeans in the New World, there were many cultural and economic impacts to both Europe and the New World. One such impact was the discovery of beetles that live on prickly pears that the natives used to make red dye, usually true red dye is very hard to come by and was almost as expensive as gold in Europe so only people of power could wear it. During the colonization of the Americas, many of the Spaniards forcefully procreated with some of the Native women, the babies that were born were both Native and Spanish. This created a cultural impact because a new population was introduced, people that were both Native and Spanish. Then later down the line in 1545 Spaniards discovered tons of silver in a mountain
