My judgement is that Matt should love Maria the reason I think Matt should love her is because she is the only one around his age that likes him And doesn't think he's bad because he's a clone. In the story, it says“Is she you're little girlfriend? Why shouldn't Maria be his girlfriend?” (109) This shows that Matt likes Maria and he wants her to be his girlfriend. He is also feeling a little jealous because he doesn't see anything wrong with Maria being his girlfriend. Another reason I think This is true is because on it states “One more thing, Matt said. I demand a birthday kiss.”(109) When Matt said that and asked for the kiss it…

When will we step out of our boundaries to discover what’s on the other side? Throughout history, we have idolized many brave heroes for their contributions to society. He did not know what to think and kept to himself. Though initially, Matt had thoughts of doing something to Richard, to what extent is unknown; We hear Willis say “How often have you thought about it?” (5), but ‘it’ was never explained explicitly, so we can safely assume by no means was that a reference to killing. Because let’s face it, killing is far from being in Matt’s nature. As we saw in the film, Matt was doing his best to take legal recourse against Richard.…

I was proudly born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. I am a first generation American as both of my parents are originally from El Salvador. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in political science. The reasons I want to attend law school are to better serve as a role model for my community and to seek justice on behalf of those denied it. I hope to prevent unjust deportations that separates immigrant families. Whenever I feel low, I always listen to this inspirational speech given by Mr. Steve Jobs at Stanford graduation day and these particular words haunt me all the time. Stay hungry, always be eager to know things whether new or already known facts and stay foolish, sound like a fool to learn new things, even it is a silly or minute doubt better clear it. It has been a linchpin for my success so far.During paper presentations and educational seminars, I feel that I had found out a little advertising that a tremendous unknown and gripping richness of knowledge lies before me, heretofore to be explored and tasted the beauty of what it is to be a good listener. I strongly believe that the principle and practical skills are two principal building blocks of training and I have acquired these skills during my…

    1) Matt was humorous throughout the book by making jokes and also lightening up the mood. “ ‘But does this work? Is it scary, is it funny, does it move?’ Matt Donaghy has something of a reputation at Rocky River for being both brainy and a comic character…” (Oates 4). This states that Matt is considered a class clown and likes to be humorous. Ursula also described Matt as “ a ‘wit’—a ‘clown’—a ‘wise guy’…” (Oates 26). Therefore, Matt is considered to be amusing.…
