According to The Oxford Dictionary, creationism is defined as the belief that the universe and living organisms originate from specific acts of divine creation, as in the biblical account, rather than by natural processes such as evolution. The Oxford Dictionary also defines intelligent design as the theory that life, or the universe, cannot have arisen by chance and was designed and created by some intelligent entity. The Bible is accepted by Christians as the world of God, and the word of God is accepted as them as being true, therefore Creationism is true in their eyes. According to the Bible, “Then God said, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us… So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female… God looked at everything he had made, and he was very pleased. Evening passed and morning came—that was the sixth day” (Gen. 1:26).
Another reason for why creationism should be taught in public schools is because Christianity has a big impact in the world we live in, and we should learn about the religion.
Future more, a reason for why creationism should be taught in public schools is that public schools are normally funded principally by local property taxes and administered principally by local government. If a healthy majority of parents with school aged children with a strong wish for creationism to be taught in their school system, they deserve that
