The Importance Of Curley's Presence And Men
Our initial impression on Curley is that he was intimidating, problematic, untrustworthy, and cold.
Curley picks a fight with Lennie because he doesn’t like big guys and prefers little guys.
Curley’s presence showed that George and Lennie get intimidated by him.
George gave advice to Lennie about do not having any trouble with Curley. I think this is a good advice because Lennie does not know how to control himself if he ever gets in a fight.

    When Lennie and George were younger, George had no knowledge of Lennie’s condition and it almost caused Lennie’s death. Lennie’s problem is mostly not because of his condition, but because people misunderstand his condition and therefore, misjudge him. George had watched over Lennie for an unknown time but still was unsure on how to deal with his condition. This leads to the death of Curley’s wife.
