At college you see many new faces, and dealing on their personality you can social be open to that person. I always treat people the same respect I should give. I’m my observation; there are people here at Central Michigan University are very shy dealing with meeting new people. Becoming shy is only going to hinder you from become an open person? For my freshmen year, I was pretty shy; I didn’t know how people were going to take my personality. I didn’t really hangout with new people because I didn’t want to be in that awkward moment between a people that I don’t know. But I started to go out of my comfort zone and meet new people. Many people judge you off your looks. But you need to get to know the person and then make a judgment. Another part that I apply to my life is appreciating diversity. In college we surround ourselves with people who have similar personality and abilities like us. But college is the place where you can get to know other ethnicity group’s sexual orientation. The value of diversity is to appreciate the rich background and obtain knowledge and understanding this rich world.
