The other area which impressed me with this episode was the acting. Jared Padalecki, who portrays Sam, demonstrated phenomenal acting as you could see the pain and regret on his face as he was taken into his past, and how much it hurt him to see how he had hurt the loved ones in his life by putting his feelings above theirs. His tone and facial expressions make him very easy to sympathize with and he has grown tremendously throughout the years. The last minutes of the episode shows actor Misha Collins, who portrays Castiel, being possessed by Lucifer so that he can defeat Amara. The mannerisms and tone that is used to show Lucifer possessing Castiel are impeccable; I was very impressed by how well you could see him within Castiel. The episode comes to a close with Lucifer, who is possessing Castiel, trying to act as Castiel normally would. I couldn’t imagine how difficult it would be to portray a character acting like other characters, who are acting like other characters! It takes a very high level of talent to successfully achieve something of that caliber, and I commend Misha
