The Importance Of School Rules Of The Dierks High School
Even though there is an abundance of astounding school rules to follow, one of these many rules is outrageous. The Dierks High School has a rule that Students have only four minutes to arrive from one class to the next. This rule needs to be improved. A solution to help improve this predicament, is to simply lengthen the time to five minutes.
One reason why this rule should be lengthened is because many Students need to use the restroom in between classes and end up with little to no time to do so. This particular School rule is outrageous. It takes away the time that we have to take care of our Necessities before returning to our next class. Students should have at least 5 minutes to get to class in between each class or session.

In hopes to make your final decision, we have some reasons on why we feel this way. One thing is that students don’t tend to wake up early enough, which would cause them to be late to class all the time and then cause them to miss a lot of classes if you add up there all the minutes they missed. Another reason on, why not to shorten the morning bell is they would fall asleep in class a lot, which wouldn’t be good for the student’s work habits.…

Krueger middle school claims they need more time to get from class to class. Some students are running from class to class and get hurt. If there's 5 minutes that will be enough time to get a drink and go to the bathroom so there's no valuable time taken away from class. Also if one student shows up tardy it distracts the whole class because they have to turn around and look who came in. If everybody's on time to class there's more time to learn. Its also very convenient for teachers if there's 5 minutes, because they don't have to leave the class to go to the bathroom. A student from krueger middle school stated, ‘Three minutes is not enough time to get there and get your things out of your locker. This year for tardies we have to go to court. Nobody wants THAT! Even if it makes our day a little longer , the time will be well…

Students ask themselves “why does school have to start so early?” on a daily basis without receiving an answer. Usually, teens find it difficult to fall asleep early and get their 8 hours of sleep, therefore the next day they wake up early, and they're tired all day at school. That is a norm for middle and high school students, and it shouldn’t be. When it comes to special education, discipline is a major concern in this area because many students are incessantly being expelled for their behavior issues that are caused by their disabilities. With the new law, students can no longer be suspended for more than 10 days during a school term for behavioral issues and 45 days for weapon and illegal drugs. Hallways in schools get absolutely crowded during passing time. With a five minute passing time, it would make hallways safer, give people more privacy, and compare better with other schools. One reason why we need a longer passing time is because it would reduce running in the hallways. According to “Wisconsin PBIS Network” you could be running in the hallway and get tripped by another person because you aren't paying attention where you are running or you could accidentally push another student into a locker. In addition, to reducing running rates in the hallway a longer passing time would also help students who need a bathroom break. For example, most teachers don't allow students to go to the bathroom during class, so they have to go during…
