“The Incredible Journey of Lewis and Clark” Have you ever heard of Lewis and Clark? They made a great trip across America. They discovered new land, plants, and animals. They also made many friends and enemies along the way. They helped shape America with their trip across it (Gragg 2, 5). The two commanders of the trip were Lewis and Clark. They Were the first people of America to go where they are going. Thomas Jefferson was the one who sent them on the trip. At this time they didn't realize how big this trip was for our country.
