The Industrial Revolution played a major part in the history of the United States of America when it was still ruled by Britain and also after the American Revolution. In fact, the economic importance of it was astonishing. Most economic historians agree that the Industrial Revolution is the most important event to occur in the history of humanity.1 The Industrial Revolution started occurring at around the 1760s mark. This change was monumental for numerous amounts of reasons. Basically, it altered the lifestyle of anyone it affected. Multiple new technologies, such as mechanized help for textile creation, steam power and steam engines, and iron making are obvious reasons why multiple lifestyles were changed.
