The influence of books to the influence of music
The influence of books to the influence of music
People all over the world enjoy music and books. No matter what their age, nationality and interests are. Books are important because they educate, entertain and help strengthen you language. Same with music, people discovered that it helps them learn better if they memorized information like it was a song by making a tune out of it.
First of all, both music and books help you relax and enjoy yourself. You can also meet new people using them. For example, with books, you can take part in a book club. With music, you can start a band or be a part of a choir.
Second of all, you can always access books. Unlike music, which is always accessible through technology and as you know, you can’t always rely on them. They run out of battery and get viruses etc.
Next, music is limited. You can’t really gain knowledge out of listening to a few tunes.
Contrary to music, books can take you on adventures. Things that you cannot possibly do otherwise. You can read about world history, the Big Bang and evolution. You may not believe in these things, but it’s great to open your mind to the endless possibilities. You can also read biographies of amazing people. People who helped change the world and make it better. People like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and more recently Steve Jobs.
In my opinion, I prefer books. When people tell me they simply don’t like books I don’t believe them. How can someone not like books? I tell them that they just haven’t found the right books for them. The right genre. Besides, music can actually harm you on the long run. We all know that as we age, so does our ears. By listening to music frequently we can actually add to that causing us to lose a huge chunk of our hearing abilities.
In conclusion, the influence of books is greater than music. Books will not harm you. In fact, books will help you become a better person, writer and student. Music is also great, but remember to not

Books have been a part of my life for a long time. My grandparents would make me read to pass the time when I would stay over with them. All throughout middle school we were required to meet a certain minimum reading quota per semester. Initially this gave me sort of a reluctant outlook on books. When I got to Highschool books were practically a foreign entity. During my senior year this changed drastically. I was introduced to books I cared about and found interesting.…

Most of us also have a favorite song or artist that sings a song that can take us to a certain place in our lives that was a happy time or even a sad time. I have a large interest in music. I feel this way because I grew up listening to music, either in the car or at home on the radio, my dad always loved, and still does, to play the best music, whether it is Rock from the 80s to 90s or the newest hits. I think that this is why I chose to start playing musical instruments, this is also probably why I have an extreme distaste for classical, can go to sleep with Nirvana blaring and yet wake up to the slightest sound of my brother creeping out of his bed. Sometimes when I'm reading or doing my homework I just pop on my headphones and start listening to some Muse, like right now. It just feels easier to concentrate and more…
