“What does the American flag mean to me?” The American flag shows how the soldiers fight for our freedom and go through tough times. They all sacrifice a lot for our freedom. Each soldier is cool and we should thank them. We show our thanks by saluting the flag. Also by putting my hand over my heart and saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at school. I also take of my hat to show respect. There was a lot thought put into the flag. Each part is unique and cool. The stars represent each state in the United States. The thirteen stripes shows the thirteen original colonies. The colors of the flag are red, white, and blue. The color red means bravery. The color white means purity.
