The errors of our society’s organization are part of our human development as a group. Unfortunately some one pays for the mistakes of others. The innocents wind up suffering for injustice and unequal opportunities in their lives. The injustices committed in the past will make our system stronger for the next generations. The justice system is always looking for equilibrium of the human rights, and mistakes are part of the maturing process of this system.
Bill Peterson also wrote in detail about Debbie Carter’s case. Unlike Grisham, he is a real character in the event. They both have opinions about how the justice system acted in the Ron Williamson situation. Even though both have strong arguments to defend their points of view, we can’t deviate from the main point of what occurred. The justice system, in this case led by Bill Peterson, caused two men to be prosecuted for something that they didn 't do. The cruel coincidences made all of the people involved into victims. Just as Ron Williamson and Dennis Fritz were victims, Bill Peterson was also a victim of the coincidence that made him responsible for accusing innocent men. He stated on his website "I have to live with what I did."
Reading the Peterson’s writings we can see that he has a different point of view from many things Grisham wrote in his book. Grisham is also a Laywer. They are making a debate over the case. It is
