The interplay of fear and foresight is a significant factor upon individuals making potentially life-altering decisions. Fear is the distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain et cetera whether the threat is real or imaged; it is a feeling or condition of being afraid. Foresight is a view of the future brought about by the act of looking forward which may occur through premonitions, feelings, or dreams. When these forces are at work in an individual’s life a person is called upon to make critically important decisions that often result in outcomes that change the course of one’s life forever.
