A kite runner is a person in the book of the kite runner his name is Hassan a Hazara boy that was friends with Amir in the book and ran kites for him because Amir was the kite fighter. Khaled Hosseini is a guy that was born in Kabul Afghanistan in 1965 and he was the author of the book the kite runner and his father was a diplomat in Afghanistan as well. The book is about the boy Amir and his troubles in life such as bad things happening to his friend Hassan and himself sometimes and Baba they lost the mom of the family which was hard and making life tougher.
