Such example includes “knowledge of my feelings and emotions” through artwork and the “through my vision and interpretation I think they are…”. Because without knowledge it is impossible to base the pursuit of knowledge, because knowledge is a justified true belief generate from one’s experience to other and accept knower’s perspective or if is not valuable it will help produce the pursuit of knowledge. For instance, perspective is essential in our pursuit of knowledge, because it’s the lens through which we look at the world. More importantly, our perspective always governs the way our opinion organizes and process information coming in to us forms the external world. The knower’s perspective is pretty narrow as they believe from their own sight, if we are wild or open enough, we might be open to new ideas from different perspective and understand that it is essential in the pursuit of knowledge and to be more open. However, as a ‘knower’ folk with narrow perspective such as old generation tend to use the limits of their vision and imagination to be the limits. Acknowledge of such perspectives is an important goal of the TOK course.
