The Last of the Mohicans is a narrative based on 1757, during the French and Indian War when France and Great Britain battle for control of North America. The novel is set in upper New York, in the wilderness. The novel continues to explain the different strategies of war, how the Indians or Europeans dress, and the different types of men in that time period (i.e. frontiersman, hunter, and expert marksman). “Then Magua arose and gave the signal to proceed, marching himself in advance.
