Cassius is a passionate and devious manipulator striving to use Brutus to gain his ends. According to the text, Cassius wrote letters stating that they’re from the people of Rome and sends them to Brutus to make it seem like the people of Rome are concerned about Caesar’s power. Cassius believes that the nobility of Rome are responsible for the government of Rome. Caesar’s well-known
ambition is the reason for his death. Caesar’s death is the reason for the conspiracy. Cassius thought that killing Caesar would make everything better. In the end Cassius only felt bad for everything he’s done.
The character traits that make Cassius least honorable are his actions and how he decide to do things. He manipulates people by lying to them. He gets them to do whatever he wants them to. He also shows envy towards Caesar throughout the whole story. Cassius has a bad vibe and shows negative energy. An example of this can be seen when he convinces Brutus to kill Julius Caesar. Brutus becomes apart of the conspiracy.
Others may feel as if Cassius was the good person. The way he acts makes him seem like the goody good. In all reality he isn’t the best. They may think Cassius was only trying to do the right thing they may consider him a honorable man. Cassius didn’t have to react the way he did or go to far. If shouldn’t have manipulated people or wanted somebody dead. Whoever feel Cassius is right is really wrong.
