saying, "I said, 'I'm not here to cause any trouble. I just want to see my daughter!'" That sadly didn't work out for her. It could have been bad timing or it could have been on purpose that they missed each other.
The Brown family may have gone to Hawaii to avoid Ami's mom, but it's not like they were in Alaska and just not answering the door. They did reach out to the Brown's several times before making the trip. Ami's mom hasn't seen her in 36 years, and she survived a stroke. One thing she wanted to do before she dies is to get the chance to see her daughter Ami at least one more time, but that didn't work out at all. Since the Brown's were not in Alaska, it will be shocking if any of this makes it on their television show.
Earlene did share that everyone in Alaska was really nice to her and inviting.
Ami's brother Les also spoke out saying, "It opened a wedge and showed we do still care about her. We still love Ami." He went on to say that he has sent Ami Brown a birthday card every year regardless of her rejection. They are both blaming Billy Brown on keeping her away from her family for all this time and are also denying any claims that Ami grew up in an abusive household, even though that is what she shared on the show.
The Alaskan Bush People page on Facebook recently shared a video all about Ami Brown's past. It does share a bit about Ami's past, which could explain a bit of why she doesn't want to meet with her mom again. Ami not being in Alaska when her mom was coming makes it very clear that she didn't want to see her at all.
