The Legislative Branch In The United States
In America the Legislative Branch is made up of the Senate and the House. Their duty is to write, debate, pass bills and send them to the president for his/her approval or veto. The House of Representatives is made up of 435 members that is divided between 50 states. The Senate is made up of 100 senators and they get two from each state. They serve a 6 year term and are elected by people of each state.
