The Life Of One Named Jesus is an interesting subject!

Depending upon were you stand in life being a child or anadult, a rich a man or a meager poor man the scholar or the unlearned your perception of this one Man Jesus may be entirely different. The life of Jesus as I know Him has been a true adventure an adventure of trying to truly knowHim, for to know him is Life and that is the life I seek.

This Jesus or another way to properly describe Him the Messiah has been a figure in the pages of writing and hearts of men and woman traced all the way back to the beginning of human history, he has been prophesied of and sought after by countless numbers of human beings. To me the greatest impact of the messiah would have to come tofruition the most is when he steps out of obscurity and out of the hearts and mind of us humans and walks among us as the flesh described in the bible within the pages of thegospel. We find Him coming out the womb of mankind and held in our arms as an innocent child a baby with all the elements of sin and worldliness surrounding Him and overshadowing this Messiah. Upon His very first breath His very life was endanger people were hunting Him and seeking Him for many reasons. After He has experienced the same starting as all of us as an infant growing into a boy we find him later on calling men to follow Him Men that were astute in the laws of God, convincing them of a better way. To the unlearned eye He might have just been another false promise of hope but to the ones that chose to follow he was the savior, he was the great I am and He was standing right there with them. If you could place yourself in the vicinity of where they were you feel a

In the book, “More than a Carpenter,” Josh McDowell shows how Jesus Christ was more than just a teacher of good principles or a significant person in history. He was God in the flesh who entered the world and exclusively proved His deity. This book shows how Jesus is different from religious historical figures, guides the reader through proofs of Christianity, and logically shows that Jesus Christ was Lord. He shows that Jesus would not have died for a lie and that if Jesus did not rise from the grave, then he would not be the Messiah. Christ has changed many lives because he lived a perfect life, died on the cross for everyone’s sins, and rose from the grave.…

To conclude, the Gospel of John holds very important details about Jesus and how to live like Him that no other gospel does. Without the book of John a good grasp of Jesus would still be obtainable, however the question of “now what” would never be answered. The multi sides of Jesus would have been missed, not only was He God in the Flesh, but also a healer, friend, and most importantly the only way for us to have a relationship with God our father. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John…

The Holy One, Word of God, Emmanuel, and Son of God, these names describe one man: Jesus Christ. No other person in the history of the world is more well known or respected. The man born of a virgin and raised by a carpenter. He taught kindness and compassion while driving out hate and corruption, and his own people, the Jews, and the Romans put him to death for preaching the good news. Jesus’ impact on the world is unparalleled. Wars were fought in his name. The church, his lasting gift, influenced life for almost two-thousand years in Europe. The modern world is truly shaped by this man. One may wonder who, if anyone, can match this man in any manner. While no mortal is even on the same level as Jesus, similarities can still be drawn.…

Two men approach me and claim that Jesus Christ was a man, but denied his deity. If I were to show them the truth, I would have to explain the biblical basis of Jesus' humanity, deity, explain how he can be both man and God, and explain what this all means to me. First though, biblical explanation of Jesus' humanity is essential.…

But one of the most importance prophecies recorded in the Old Testament was the prophecies of the coming of the Messiah. Without the Old Testament, we as Christian would not understand why the Messiah was coming (Isaiah 53). The Old Testament also, prophesied on the Messiah’s birth place “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me, The One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting” (Micah 5:2), his death and his resurrection “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption” (Psalm 16:10). Also, on Jesus Christ ministry and what he did in his…

The idea of a Messiah is one that is found throughout the Hebrew Bible. Similarly, the Bible tells us the expectations of the Messiah. His ethnic background, place of birth, time frame of his arrival and other identifying characteristics are given. These prophecies enable us to identify the Messiah, and to recognize imposters. To understand this, one must realize that by the time of Jesus, the Messianic hope had become greatly politicized in the minds of the people. They were seeking deliverance from the tyranny of Rome. Although the Scripture spoke both of the sufferings and of the victories of the Messiah, the victorious aspect had become uppermost in the minds of the common people because of the Roman domination. This "lopsided" view of the Messiah has stuck with Jewish people, and the politicization of the Messianic hope has continued. Thus the hope of a political rather than a spiritual Messiah contributes to the rejection of Jesus in his role as a Messiah.…

Jesus Christ is the sinless, eternal Son of God. We are all sinners. God is a Holy God. He is Love and He is Justice and MUST punish sin (Luke 11:42). The Bible says that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23) and "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4) Note that this death does not simply mean the grave, but eternal death, in Hell and the Lake of Fire, which was designed for the Devil and his (fallen) angels. (Matthew 25:41, 2 Peter 2:4-9) So that means all of us are, from the moment we first commit a sin on our way to hell. Remember that Jesus said that even if you look upon a woman in a lustful way, that you have committed adultery in your heart. (Matthew 5:27-28) If you hate in your heart it is murder (1 John 3:15). Being so Holy that He cannot tolerate sin (even the angels cover their faces and feet before Him (Isaiah 6:1-7)) God cannot allow us sinners into heaven, His holy place at the end of life/time. If He did, He would no longer be a good, Holy, Just God. But being Love He devised a way to save us all, without compromising His position as a Holy God, which He could never do. He sent His sinless Son, Jesus Christ into the World to pay the penalty for our sins. His Holy standards demand a sinless substitute. The only sinless man on earth was His eternal (ever-existing) Son.…

Throughout the course of human history, people all over the world have sought answers as to where they have come from and where they are headed. Out of this comes organized religion, and almost always an accompanying figurehead. For the Jews, this figurehead might be Moses, or even Abraham; for Muslims, it is Allah; and for the approximately one third of the global population that practices some form of Christianity, that person is Jesus of Nazareth. The life of Jesus transformed an innumerable amount of people over the last two thousand years. As mentioned above, those who believe Jesus had the divine spirit within number in the billions. Interestingly, all of these people know of Jesus only through the writings of the New Testament which…

Throughout history, theologians have been trying to understand how doctrines developed. These various theories pointed out how the changes in the religious beliefs affected the people in the church. Some people modified for the worst and some affected for the better. For this reason, Jesus was born and died, and that change gave a new foundation to the community supporting and helping the lost find their way to truth, the life and the way which is Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Every person way to Jesus is not the same route, but despite the different paths, they all lead to Christ. As an illustration, Rahab, a prostitute open her home where she service men to hide two spies from the King of Jericho on the roof under the stalks of flax. She told the spies about all the amazing miracles God did for them in and out of Egypt. Rahab told the spies about their God. A God in the heaven and on the earth. She also told them, since she showed kindness to them to repay her the same service and show kindness to her family and save them from death. The spies gave her their word. Rahab and her entire household were spared (Joshua 2). Amazing how so many people know/heard about the awesomeness of God and what He did in people lives. However, the people became alive when they have an encounter with God through their…
