The circumstances of Aileen Wuornos’ life could be construed as tragic, and although an argument could be made that they ultimately lead to her demise, I feel those circumstances were a product of her free will or her power to make choices and engage in actions that originated within her (Williams, C. R. & Arrigo, B. A., 2012). The question then is did she possess the morals that society feels is acceptable/ normal and did she have the freedom to make such moral judgments?
A speculation can be drawn that because she was raised in a disciplined household and her adoptive sister and brother did not possess deviant behaviors, a sense of morality was present at some time in her life to providing, at least, a basic footing for morality. That
