When you come to Damien, we welcome people from all over, as adrift lions and mislead animals to found and ecstatic lions. Our ohana welcomes everyone, no matter who you are. If you come from different districts or even countries, every new person that comes to Damien is a new lion welcomed into the family. Over all, lions are never alone. We are always in a pack and forever a pack as one in mind, heart and soul.
Finally, the last statement that makes us stand out, is the laying of the bricks. What that is, is every senior class that graduates lay a brick down on the preserved walkway, to remember the memories the seniors had during their lifetime at Damien. Though many cubs come and go, the laying of the brick stands as a solid paw print, sunk into the ground as a standing reminder of the past lions/lionesses that has ever walked the halls of Damien.
Overall, Damien is a pack that can never be broken or lost. Our paw prints on this school and the Earth will forever be there for people to know that we are a together and we are unique. From the president of the family and the bricks, we are one. At last, to the reason why I learned that lion’s paw prints sink 6’’ deep into the mud is because no animal can sink 6’’ deep with there paw
