in a way to be leader. Ralph I recall is one of the few who didn’t suppress the memories of the island. Not suppressing the memories Ralph made on the island is going to mature him dramatically he will probably either go through mental trauma or become a very understanding person. When Ralph goes back to school I think he won’t trust the other kids, take jokes they make well, and see the bad in the good moments that happen. When kids become adults after going through what Ralph went through I hope they make peace with what happened and become better and understanding people, if Ralph doesn’t make peace with what happened he would probably become an untrusting, nervous, and over reacting old man still seeing things and comparing them to what happened on the island. Jack I consider to be the worst of them all he was the one who engendered the Chaos and savagery on the island by taking the horrors that happened on the island and turning it into power for him he ruined what innocents those boys had. When Jack goes to school his classmates will still see him as the same boy before he left not the monster he was on the island I would hate to think of what would happen to the kid who interacts with him first and what he will do to the school. All the boys are going to go through some kind of trauma after what happened on the island, since Kids can’t comprehend death they will suppress the memory and not consider how horrible it is. Adulthood is where you are most free, Jack having already killed a few boys on the island may become a killer since he couldn’t comprehend what killing someone does he might carry that on as an adult and be able to kill lot’s of people with no idea what that means. The boy who went through the most trauma would be Roger.
At the beginning he was the boy the kids used to practice hunting pigs on and he was the most violent at the ending. After the boys practiced hunting on him and they all were laughing and saying that was fun he must have unconsciously took that as being ok. Kids foundation for who they are is made by the friends and people they listen to but when they become teens the foundation is finished so they will accept new things but there foundation won’t change. How Roger was treated on the island will affect who he is forever unless someone friends him and shows him what is really right or wrong while he’s still young. How Roger will act as an adult will be defined on whether someone shows him the right path and the wrong path. If Roger goes down the wrong path he will become someone who doesn’t understand others or how they feel when he does something wrong he won’t know why it’s wrong. If Roger goes down the right path he will probably become someone kinda shy but willing to always help a friend or family member the people he meets in his life will become the most important people in his
life. The conclusion for what happened to the boys on the island and what they will do after leaving it. They will go through some kind of trauma no matter what, after experiencing what happened on the island there’s no going away from it forever. There are two paths that they could go on one being the good the other one the bad if they go on the good they will build off of their experience on the island and become better people from it, if they go on the bad they won’t become good people and could become insane. Over all what happened to them will forever be a part of them they will either stay on the island after being rescued or they will build off of what happened to become better human beings.
