Is everything okay?” said Ian.
“I am sorry to tell you but your parents are in the hospital. They got into a car accident and you were their only emergency number.”
“I’m on my way!”
Ian hangs up the phone and calls his girlfriend as he is speeding down the street, “Shelby meet me at …show more content…
This past year for him has been miserable. Shelby has tried to help him look past it but it's hard because it was his parents, the people who gave him life. Ian and shelby were at dinner that night about the same time that his parents died and Ian wasn’t good. He wasn’t acting the same as he used to and Shelby knew something was up but she had her own surprise for him so she didn’t want to ruin it. They were all finished eating when Ian ordered a couple glasses of wine for them. He was drinking but she wasn’t because she couldn’t, he didn’t notice that she wasn’t drinking because he was worried about what he was about to do. Ian reached into his pocket and got on one knee,
“You’ve showed me that you really care about me by the way you have been here for me since before my parents have past away. I love you so much that I wouldn’t know what to do without you. Will you make my dream come true? Will you marry me Shelby?” Ian asked.
“Oh my god baby yes! A thousand times yes!” Shelby cried happily.
Ian got up to hug and kiss Shelby but when he tried to give her a big hug, Shelby made sure he didn’t hug her too tight.
