The computer age has certainly changed everyone’s lives. The majority of people have joined their selves to machines for better and for worse in many cases, it has become the only acceptable way to communicate. According to “The Machine stops” short story written by E.M Forster, the lives of individuals are controlled by a machine that works under the surface of the earth. We are in a logic forced into agreement to gain knowledge of computers; otherwise opportunities will continue to become harshly increased as time goes on. In the story " the machine stops" it had made the life of the human race to be so easy and simple to the point that humans depending have been depended all on the machine. Technology provides us with almost direct international imaging and information on any possible topic. People use technology to get from place to place, where to go shopping, and so on. They have greater knowledge so they give it to us. The new technology creation is a varied dedication, somewhat dangerous. In fact, it has given us world power, but there is a cost. It takes the following from us: trust, responsibility to control our lives, and sensitivity.
The first cost we face as a. Effect of the new technology is loosing trust in ourselves. What's meant by loosing trust is basically not knowing what's real. Technology has given us beyond what we ask for and this is why people go for technology rather then going for what they know. This is loosing trust in ourselves. For example, a person is given an essay that he believes he knows ideas about it but doesn't hesitate to use them because his afraid he might be wrong. He refers using the computer to gain information about what he needs because basically he doesn't trust his ability of doing something good on his own. Humans today are quite like vashti the protagonist in the story "the machine stops", in which she rally's on the machine for everything. She beings to worship the machine to the point
