The Marble Champ, By Gary Soto
The character Lupe, from the story the Marble Champ, by Gary Soto is a good role model. Lupe is a good sport and she is shows determination. She can do anything when she puts her mind to it.

My first reason why Lupe is a good role model is because she is a good sport. First of all, she was kind to the other player and whispered ,”yes”. so the other player couldn't hear her. that proves that she is a good sport. My second reason is she felt bad when the player lost and felt sary. ther for lupe is a good roll model.finally she told the second place player that she was a good player that makes her a good roll model.

Lupe also shows determination. she shows her determination by doing push ups on her finger tips to make her stronger. She
