Success academically, at this time of my life, is most important. College prepares you for the rest of your life, If you do not succeed now you won't later. These hard courses take a lot of time and effort to pass with a good grade, but its getting you ready for the real world. Even though I have struggled with maintaining my grades in the past, I hope to learn new study, and time management skills here at High Point. I am currently listed as an exercise science major, soon to be changed to biology, for my dream job as a physicians assistant. Since this profession requires good grades, prominantly in the sciences, it will be a challenge to keep these grade consistantly above average. If I put in the time and make the right decisions, this dream can be achieved, thus, then I can consider myself to be successful.
Another oppertunity for success for me would be track and field. I currently run Track at High Point, competeing in the triple jump, long jump, and 400 hurdles. I decided to stick with my sport at a collegiate level because I wasn't done improving what I started in my freshman year of high school. I've always been competitive, and I love to challenge myself to run faster and jump further. Every time I score higher and get a new personal record, its equivalant to a small success that soon will be add up to what my main goal is. I look forward to the season and hope the new skills I'm learning from my
