In this Manifesto I will focus on the Smith Family, an average white middle class suburban family. James the father and leader of the family is forty-five years old and has a stable job as an accountant at a large firm, his wife Lisa is forty-four and is a well-recognized interior designer in her town. The two got married in 1997 and later had their first child Jennifer who is seventeen and a High School Junior and a few years later their second child Michael was born who is fifteen and a High School Freshman. They have just moved to Pasadena, California only four years ago and they are still getting used to the new city. They were originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana but moved because of James’ job. Don’t get me wrong everyone was on board on the whole moving thing they were kind of tired of living down south in Baton Rouge. They also slowly became influenced by their neighbors and the media that is being influenced by Hollywood. Their media was different than the Good Ole’ South’s conservative media because Hollywood is the media and if you live there you are going to become them. Anyways the four began their new lives and everything started off nice but, they started changing parts of their lives without noticing just to fit in because of the social influence and media
