We are pleased to inform you that upon the invitation of the World Scout Bureau/Asia-Pacific Region the 30th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree will be hosted by the Scout Association of Japan. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) will organize contingent to represent the Philippines in the said event. The basic information to the said activities are as follows: Date Venue Theme Estimated Cost Participants : : : of : 01-07 August 2013 (participants are expected to arrive on 31 July 2013 and leave on 08 August 2013) Kirara-hama, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan “Wa – a Spirit of Unity” Participation : US$1,6 90.00 Scout 14-17 years old, Scout Leader 21 years old above and International Service Team (IST) 18 years old above
Deadline of Submission of Application Forms and Cost of Participation is on 31 March 2013. 2. 3. The estimated cost of participation is computed at the most conservative estimate and is payable in US dollars to the BSP-National Office ONLY. Qualification of Participants: Scout Applicants Duly registered Scouts 14-17 years old At least a Venturer Rank Holder or equivalent Must be physically fit and in good health The Scout must have attended International/BSP National Scout Jamboree Scout Leader Applicants Duly registered with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines At least five (5) years experience as a Unit Leader, preferably Woodbadge holder Must be physically fit and in good health The Unit Leader must have attended International/BSP National Scout Jamboree International Service Team Duly registered with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines At least five (5) years experience as a Unit Leader, preferably Woodbadge holder Must be physically fit and in good health The Unit Leader
