The Most Important Skill in Life

Life is very competitive nowadays, and in order to succeed in the world today, a person should learn various skills such as communication, hard work, patience etc. Among these, I think communication skill is the most important one to learn. First of all, a person with a good interpersonal skill can learn more in a short time. This person can obtain much more information and knowledge by talking to other people than from books. For instance, if a student wants to study abroad, he should talk to someone who has been through the same experience, but if he or she is not good at talking, or perhaps too shy to talk, then the person will have to spend a lot more to gather the information about what he wants. Second, people with effective communication skill have good relationship with other people, and everyone trusts and relies on the person. Then, there will be many chances that the person can get helps from others when needed, but people who are not familiar with good communication skills are not good at this, so they miss chances to ask for help. In addition, having good communication skills directly affects employment. For example, if I am a good communicator, I can make people understand what I am capable of and show them what I can do for them in their company. Then, I can make a good first impression, and therefore I will be successful in convincing an employer that I am the right person for the job. To make a long story short, it is obvious that everyone wants to learn a lot, get a good job, and be successful at last. In order for us to be successful, I think the most important skill we should learn is communication, and I believe this will help us learn more, have better chances of getting a better job, and have more friends who can help the person in
