been neutralize. Not that many people would risk their life for a person they just met. Romeo is a crazy lover, who is also the most memorable character in the play.
The second memorable character in the play is Juliet.
Julia is the second memorable character, because she is the female protagonist. The play is centered around Juliet and Romeo, so the audience will learn more about Juliet and Romeo than any other characters in the play. In the “characters” (pg ix) it's said “Juliet begins the play as a naïve child”. So when the play starts, Juliet is like a “native child” who doesn't care about anything that's happening in her family. But, as the play goes on, Juliat learn new things and quickly matures. Second of all, Juliet is memorable because she is the wife of Romeo ( the male protagonist). Juliet is so loyal and in love with Romeo that she even condones him for killing her cosine Tybalt. Juliet is memorable because she is the female protagonist and the wife of
Romeo.
Last but not the least, Friar Lawrence is the third memorable character in the play. Friar Lawrence is a memorable character, because he is like an unbiased messenger for both sides. Friar Lawrence is the priest who married Romeo and Juliet, knowing who and what type of family they come from. This would be a hard choice for other people because they might be afraid of the Montague or the Capulet family. Friar Lawrence said “I’ll help you with your secret wedding” (pg 103)
Friar helped Romeo and Juliet because he thought is it was the right thing to do. Also, Friar Lawrence is a wise and kind hearted person, who is trusted and respected by other characters in the play. One of the negative thing is that, people think that it was Friar Lawrence's fault that Romeo and Juliet both killed himself. Even through Friar Lawrence did everything he could to help Romeo and Juliet live a happy life. Friar Lawrence is one of the few memorable character in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. In conclusion the Romeo and Juliet has many great characters such as The Nurse. But, the most remarkable and memorable characters in the play are Romeo, Juliet, and Friar Lawrence.
