It covers bullying, abuse, finding yourself, peer pressure, etc. things like this happen every day people just don’t pay attention to it or want to believe what it really is. I think the main purpose of the film was to help people come to their senses and rethink about the decisions they make and also to realize where they come from and how it affects how they are today. The major theme of this movie was to not judge a book by its cover without knowing the full story. If Chiron’s bullies really knew where he came from and how his life was they might not have bullied him.
