Report on the murder of Mrs Anderson on 3rd and Elm street
On Monday, the 29th of August a roberry and a murder took place on the 3rd and Elm street. The victim is a middle aged woman, Mrs Anderson. There are eight witnesses who claims to have seen the crime happend, but Mr. Struthers, is the only one who seems like he knows what actually happend. The problem is he wont talk to anyone who isn´t the Lieutenant, but at the end i managed to konvice him to tell me what he saw, and we had a chat in my office.
Mr. Struthers said he was hedding home in the dark when the crime happend. There was a woman at a bus stop. He saw a man grabbing her from behind and stabbing her several times with a knife. She tried to escape and lost her purse in self defense. The woman fell dead to the ground and the killer ran in the direction Mr. Sturhers was standing. He and the killer stood face to face for a second before the killer ran off without hurting Mr. Struthers. …show more content…
Struthers statement:
“The woman, Mrs. Anderson, was standing on a corner waiting for the bus. I was walking down toward her. It was dark, and I was walking quiet so nobody could hear me coming.
The mugger came out of the shadows and grabbed Mrs. Anderson around her throat from behind. She threw up her arm, and her purse opened and everything inside fell on the sidewalk. Then he lifted his hand and stabbed her, she screamed, and he yelled “Quiet, you bitch” He lifted his hand again and brought it down again, all the time yelling, “here you bitch, here, here” He must have lifted the knife at least a dozen times.
She dropped to the ground, and he came running up the street toward me. I tried to get against the building, but I was too late. We stood face to face, and for a minute I thought he was going to kill me too, but he gave a kind of moan and ran up the street.”
