Prior to the base drinking age law, 16-to 20-year-olds were the most well-known smashed drivers. At the point when the drinking age was raised, the quantity of lethal accidents including a youthful driver dropped essentially, from 61% in 1982 to 31% in 1995.It went down more for that age group than any older age group''( Christensen 2014) when hearing this I believe the drinking age shouldn't be change because her statement is saying to me ages 18-20 aren't mature enough or responsible to consume alcohol and after the law was passed to 21 and there were no problem since so the question is why would we lower it? At the point when liquor utilization meddles with this early grown-up mental health, the potential for interminable issues, for example, more prominent defenselessness to fixation, hazardous danger taking conduct, lessened basic leadership capacity, memory misfortune, gloom, viciousness, and suicide is more noteworthy''.( Porncorn 2016) In other words when you have problems like development of the young adult brain's this can lead to things like suicide and having difficulty memory things. This can lead to a huge problem because it wouldn’t help the students focus on school which might ruin their future. Because alcohol is taking away their basic common sense and their learning abilities to pass the class.
