whatsoever. Workers worked long hour shifts each day performing difficult physical labor tasks. Despite the long hours workers also had to wake up very early to get to work. If you think the long hours and physical hardship was bad enough, workers got paid very little and could barely support themselves. The conditions of factories weren't safe for people to work in because of heavy machinery and poorly built support workers could find themselves injured and replaced in a matter of minutes because the demand for work was very high.
Child labor was also another effect industrialization left on England because many families often sent their children to work in factories to get extra money towards the benefits of the household.
Children had no working rights and were put to do the most dangerous tasks such as fixing the inside of machines or mining because they were small and could fit into small areas and were often severely injured or killed. Living conditions were also the epitome of all things. There was no sanitation at that time and basic plumbing which meant streets became dirty and stunk with human excrement and trash. Housing was small and people often lived in crowded conditions in small houses with cold stone floors they'd be lucky enough to have to share a less crowded living space. This connects to the idea of how the industrial revolution had negative effects on the people living in England at the time because of the poor living conditions and working environments people endured it is best said that there were ravishing effects left upon citizens living in these towns and
cities. Although there were negative effects left upon the poor of England which happened to be a good percent of the population, an emerging middle class began to develop. The goods being exported improved the economy long term towards England because the more they mass-produced than the more revenue they accumulated. Urbanization began to make way and buildings were being built more than ever to house the middle class. Even women played a larger role than before because women kept the household under control and produced goods at home even in factories. England had a lack of recourses before the industrial revolution, they began mining coal, and cranking out more materials than before. The improved wealth urbanization and livelihood of the middle class of England would advance the nation to the point where they would remain one of the most technologically advanced nations at the time and would maintain a strong economy to last centuries later. This connects back to the idea of how there were positive effects of the industrial revolution in England because the economy was improved, homes were built, more cities were developing and would keep the country strong over 2 hundred of years down the line.
