In the epic poem, “The Odyssey” a greek myth documented by Homer, Odysseus is a hero far from perfect who strives to return home. Odysseus deserves his reputation as a successful, courageous, and intelligent King of Ithaca. He deserves his reputation, because of his noble qualities defined by their society, along with his heroic actions.
