There is nowhere in the Old or New Testament misogynistic is prevalent, furthermore misogynistic is synonymous with the word hatred. Hatred is not a characteristic of God. When one look at the attributes that helps describes the characteristics of God, James P. Boyce says, “The attributes of God are those peculiarities which mark or define the mode of his existence, or which constitute his character.” The attributes of God that describe His character goes against misogynistic, which are holiness, love, goodness. Elmer Towns said in describing these attributes of God, “God manifest Himself in divine attributes that reveal His nature as being holy, the expression of all that is right and pure; love, the sharing of His life with His created beings; and goodness, the embodiment of all ideal qualities and rewarding all that personifies the law of God” While we look deeper into conduct of misogynistic we are to keep I mind that God is holy, love, and good. 2 Kings 4:9-10 says, “And she said to her husband, look now, I know that this a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly. Please let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so, it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.”
Another woman from the Old Testament is Esther who told the Jews in Susa too fast for three days in worship to God, so He would change the kings deadly decree. Esther 4:15-16 says, “Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: Go gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish I perish!”
These women of the Old Testament knew the greatness and power of God, and He used them to boldly stand up and speak, they showed boldness and courage, which in turns dispels the notion of misogynistic in the Old
