Muslims are being oppressed all over the world in today’s times. Muslims are branded by the Western part of the world as ‘terrorists.’ This is completely false. Islam is a religion of peace and those countries that have branded Muslims as terrorists are in fact oppressing Muslims.
One of the worst types of oppression that is taking place today against Muslims is in Palestine. Israel is killing and torturing all the Palestinian Muslims just to gain territory. The Muslims are defenseless, and yet they still kill them. This is an ongoing inhumane massacre. Guess who gave Israel the small piece of land in Palestine after World War Two? The United Nations Council, headed by the United States of America, who is also supplying Israel with military arms.
Muslims are not only being tortured but being stripped of a person’s most wealthy asset in a country: their citizenship. This is happening in the United Kingdom and in the United States. A Muslim Somali-born man with UK citizenship went to Somalia to visit his family. When he got back, he was informed by MI5 that he had been stripped of his citizenship. A similar story took place in the United States of America.
In Europe, oppression against Muslim women is taking place. Belgium and France have banned the niqaab. Nicolas Sarkozy, the President of France, as well as other politicians said that they put this law into practice to protect the gender equality and dignity of women. This is a lie. Other countries in Europe such as Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Switzerland are all pushing for the banning of niqaab.
The worst thing that is happening is that the campaign against Muslims has now reached South Africa. Just in August last year, there was an ‘Islamophobia’ killing of a South African Muslim in Ventersdorp. He was beaten to death after being made fun of his beard.
