The Outsiders Movie And Book Similarities
The outsiders movie and novel have many differences and similarities. I have only written about two of each but it is always fun to go back and look for more There is a hug variation between the two, the tiny details were precisely the same. The Outsiders is about a group of kids that are all different some are greasers, which have the leather jackets and the slicked back hair, and there are the Socs, they are the rich kids of town and are more dressed up then the greasers are. One way that the book is different from the movie is that the movie didn't say anything about Sodapop, the main character's older brother, wanting to get married to a girl when she is out of school and in the book there is a few pages about how much Soda loves

    It contains very strong theme about dysfunctional family, use of drugs and crime. I guess the board of education was afraid that the students will imitate the events in the book. However, I understand why they decided to re-allow it in schools. The author, who wrote this book around our age really wanted to deliver that we can all live together in peace and conflict only bring more conflict. Although the family in the Outsiders wasn’t the best family you could ask for, they had so much love inside them they didn’t actually portray to each other. They just didn’t know the right way to express it. I would rate this book 4/5 because of the effectiveness of the author trying to deliver her message in a coherent manner. I highly recommend all teenagers to read this book. Overall, I think this compelling story will grasp even the most reluctant readers thanks to the deep bond of sympathy.     The Outsiders is about 2 gangs, the Socs and the Greasers. The Socs are the rich kids from the West side. The Greasers are from the East side, they are considered juvenile delinquents by other people. One night two Greasers (Ponyboy and Johnny) talk to some Socs (Cherry and Marcia) at the movies.
