Up to this point the book is really interesting and well written. We think that Rose is quite mature because she can name the emotions she tastes and she worries about her mother. She does not even think that she is crazy and knows what is going on even though she thinks that something is wrong with her. She is very happy that George believes her.
The fact that Rose sometimes tells the reader something about what happened years ago is a good thing to get familiar to the family and to get a own picture of the characters. We are very eager to read on and excited to discover what happens next and how Rose will deal with her new gift.
