the pencil
Can't count the years on one hand
That we've been together
I need the other one to hold you.
Make you feel, make you feel better.
It's not a walk in the park
To love each other.
But when our fingers interlock,
Can't deny, can't deny you're worth it
Cause after all this time.
I'm still into you
I should be over all the butterflies
I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let them wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you
Recount the night that I first
Met your mother
And on the drive back to my house
I told you that, I told you that I loved ya.
You felt the weight of the world
Fell off your shoulder
And to your favorite song
We sang along to the start of forever
Cause after all this time.
I'm still into you
I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let them wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you
Some things just,
Some things just make sense
And one of those is you and I
Some things just,
Some things just make sense
And even after all this time
I'm into you
Baby not a day goes by that
I'm not into you
I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let them wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you
I'm still into you
I'm still into you

How long will I love you
As long as stars are above you
And longer if I can
How long will I need you
As long as the seasons need to
Follow their plan
How long will I be with you
As long as the sea is bound to
Wash up on the sand
How long will I want you
As long as you want me to

This was an article written from the aspect of a wooden pencil. The pencil first starts out talking about how no one knows how to make him/her. It states that it is a mystery even more so than a tree or a sunset. It goes on to talk about even though it might look like a simple object, it is much more complex with creation. Referencing each piece used to create the pencil, then tracing its genealogy to those who made objects used for transportation, manufacturing, texturing, etc of those pieces. The pencil then talks about how no one really wants it, but many rely on it. How no one had a big hand in creation, yet each step is more important than the last. The pencil this whole article was working off the idea “If you can become aware of the miraculousness which I symbolize, you can help save the freedom mankind is so unhappily losing.” When it comes down to it, the pencil was talking about the freedoms of humans. Without that, things such as pencils would not exist. Its final message that it was presenting was “Leave all creative energies uninhibited.”…

In June 1943, Biro and his brother Georg, a chemist, took out a new patent with the European Patent Office and made the first commercial models, Biro pens. Later, the British government bought the rights to the patented pens so that the pens could be used by Royal Air Force crews. In addition to being sturdier than conventional fountain pens, ballpoint pens wrote at high altitudes with reduced pressure (conventional fountain pens flooded at high altitudes). Their successful performance for the Royal Air Force brought the Biro pen into the limelight, and during World War II the ballpoint pen was widely used by the military because of its toughness and ability to survive the battle environment.…

Is the sword mightier than the pen or vice-versa? I think the pen is inevitably mightier than the sword. A pen can do a lot more things than a sword. Unlike a sword, it can be both constructive and destructive. And its destructive power is stronger than the sword’s. The power of a pen is out of people’s imagination. First, the pen is much more influential than the sword. Some may say that a pen cannot hurt anyone, but a sword can actually kill someone. However, what matters the most is not the pen itself, but the words. As history and facts have revealed, the impacts of wars cannot last long. It can last for a few centuries, at most. Yet books can last for thousands of years. For example, the Holy Bible is the most influential book that has ever been published. Many people study and read it every day. Moreover, it changes people’s lives. It is not only that the Holy Bible that influence people, but a lot of classic books are also playing an important role in inspiring and guiding people. Moreover, a pen can hurt others eternally. As a matter of fact, a sword can cause trauma in someone. Yet that kind of trauma is physical and can be healed. However, for most of the time, the wound, which is caused by words, cannot be healed easily. For example, if you have a fight with your friends, and you quarrel with them, you may talk to each other after a few days. But if you write a letter to revile your friends, you may not be able to be friends with them anymore. It is because the harms that words can bring to others can be huge. Finally, a pen can control people’s minds. People can use a sword to force others to do something, but they are never willing to do. Yet, a pen can actually make people to something with all their might, no matter whether the thing is merciful or felonious. There was a notorious man in history, who knew the fact that a pen can control people’s minds, caused a big war. That man was Adolf Hitler. He used his…

It is my sincere belief that the pen through which we write words is surely mightier than the sword. Allah Almighty said in his first revelation “READ! And your Lord is the most generous, He who has taught by the pen, has taught man that he knew not.” These words of the Holy Quran prove the universal truth that the pen is the first mightiest thing that has brought the revolution of knowledge, wisdom and education in human being.…

    Light Pen

A light pen, also called a selector pen, is a computer input device in the form of a light-sensitive wand used in conjunction with a computer's CRT display. It allows the user to point to displayed objects or draw on the screen in a similar way to a touch screen but with greater positional accuracy. It was long thought that a light pen can work with any CRT-based display, but not with LCDs (though Toshiba and Hitachi displayed a similar idea at the "Display 2006" show in Japan) and other display technologies. However, in 2011 Fairlight Instruments released its Fairlight CMI-30A, which uses a 17" LCD monitor with light pen control. A light pen is fairly simple to implement. Just like a light gun, a light pen works by sensing the sudden small change in brightness of a point on the screen when the electron gun refreshes that spot. By noting exactly where the scanning has reached at that moment, the X, Y position of the pen can be resolved. This is usually achieved by the light pen causing an interrupt ,at which point the scan position can be read from a special register, or computed from a counter or timer. The pen position is updated on every refresh of the screen. Since light pens operate by detecting light emitted by the screen phosphors, some nonzero intensity level must be present at the coordinate position to be selected, otherwise the pen won't be…

An experience which taught me how to value life at its fullest, the day when I was informed about this activity I was actually in doubt if I would go or not; however, there was that feeling that pushes me to join. Then, the day had come, it was Friday afternoon where I packed my things and counted myself in. As we walked along the road towards the village, I have thought of those things that I left especially school works, but I made up a decision to let go of it for a while because I knew that there is still much important thing to do.…
