I think that youth has a lot of power in their hands to make this a better world, but they just don’t know how to use it. They don’t have any experience and they are not willing to learn from it. I think that with the youth we have today we are not going to have a good future. There are a lot of students that are dropping out of school. Teenagers are not taking their education seriously. There also young people that are not using their power to vote. Youth has a lot of power, but they need to learn how to use it. The reason that youth doesn't know how to use their power, is because their dropping out of school. Pregnancy is a reason why they drop out of school. A lot of teenage girls get pregnant and they drop out because they have to work and take care of their baby. Those girls don’t have any experience in life; they just want to mature quickly. Those girls don’t have any idea of what their doing to themselves. They just drop out of school and now they don’t have any future in a career. Second reason is that teenagers don’t take education seriously. Teenagers think that school is boring. Some of them ditch school and hang around with their friends. The effect of their nonattendance to school is that they flunk the classes and they have to take them again. When they have to take them over and over again, instead of working hard to pass the class they drop out. Youth has a lot of power to have great careers in the future and make our economy better but they just don't use that power wisely. Last reason is that there is a big number of young people who are already 18 years old and their able to register and vote but they don't do it. They just don't care about our future. I think that teenagers not voting really affect our future and the decisions that are made. I think that if they cared a little bit about our future and vote, things could be better.
