A great majority of the American population are immigrants. However, they should not be so quick to impose a ban. The American economy would fall. This would also have an impact on families with a work permit and green card. America is the one that issued them after investigation. Then now just because of a few that did not do what they were supposed to, everyone has to suffer. That is very unfair. Maybe the individuals that were affected are the only breadwinner in the family. If they cannot return from a vacation overseas and is unable to resume work, then those families will suffer. Many of the immigrants work for cheap. They work in housekeeping, cleaning offices and they are contracted out to clean buildings. This prevents them from being shut down. A majority of them work in the fast food business for little pay. They are nannies to people children; where the children by the time they are ready for school they can fluently speak another language. Immigrants also do a lot of construction work. They help to build roads and bridges for the American population to travel back and forth. They also assist in the construction of most of the buildings that Americans live, work and go to school in. They also help to put lines and pipes underground for cable, electricity, sewage and water. This is why I know that it would impact America because immigrants are the source of this country. If the immigrant’s population is not here, the American economy would be greatly affected. Again, immigrants make up a great majority of the US population. There would be a great loss of money if they are not here. The companies that they work for will be affected. It can affect the federal budget and funding.
