ASTEROID SEEN BY NASA YEARS AGO. THEY SAY DON'T WORRY.
While all of us were partying 2013 away, NASA was busy doing what they do best. Looking at space. Amongst the planets and stars, they seemed to pick out a small object that seemed to be heading towards us. Asteroid 2013 TX68, as it is so eloquently called, will be making a close pass by Earth on March 6th. The asteroid is estimated to be about 100 feet long (30 meters). Despite the potentially horrifying outcome, NASA says we have nothing to fear.
DOOMSDAY PROPHETS DISSAPOINTED AS ASTEROID MISSES US …show more content…
That is what the headline in March will read according to NASA.
The agency is fairly positive the rock will miss the Earth. They have an "accurate" estimation that it will come within 11,000 miles (17,000 kilometers) to 9 million miles (14 million kilometers). The reasoning behind the wide range is due to the fact that they only had two years to track its progress. To further dispell conspiracy theorists, NASA has made an official report that there is absolutely no chance that this projectile will hit our planet in 2016. However, when it comes back again in 2017, there is a 1 in 250 million chance it will hit. That's right, it's coming back next year, and then again in 2046 and
2097.
WHAT ARE THEY HIDING FROM US?.
It seems the space agency is handling this whole process rather nonchalantly. Is it because we on Earth simply have nothing to worry about or are they hiding something. Keep your tinfoil hats on, because one can never be too sure. Maybe they have messed up big time. They know the Earth is doomed but they cannot alert the world. They've seen the movies, it's going to be chaos. Hopefully, they've been training the world's best oil rig team the past two years in order to stop this catastrophe.
