National Health Insurance have not materialized in the United States of America because of capitalism and the free trade markets that Americans have long since taken pride in. Logically, why wouldn’t so many companies want a slice of one of the biggest expenditures in health care. Additionally, having one ruling entity over the entire health care payment system within the country with the largest health care budget could quickly turn detrimental due to greed and corruption (Prior Sarbanes Oxley Act). I believe even with government intervention of major corporations to curb abuse of powers that come with corporate management that an untied health care system would still falter and eventually collapse due to the vast nature of the beast.
