The Pros And Cons Of Protests
Protesters in Honolulu, Hawaii and all over the United States express their political differences about the recent election win to Donald Trump and how very disconcerted they are due to the shocking outcome. People in the LGBT community, African Americans and Minorities have been greatly presenting their feelings and thoughts on Trump's’ victory. Now that its 2016 protesters are not as violent as they used to be back in the old days, protests with the new president is more peaceful and less physical between protesters and armed police. For example, during Obama’s election, there were tons of violent protests against him being president by lots of arson, shootings, and loads of attempted crimes to hurt African Americans Minorities. Additionally, Democrats claim that Trump may have won the electoral college votes, but they still won't support him in any way. …show more content…
Moreover, non Trump supporters gathered around the famous Trump towers in Waikiki and at Kapiolani Park protests with catchy chants like “Not my president”, “ Her body her choice”, and “ Spreading love and fighting hate”, all which relate to things that Trump had stated during his campaign that contradicted with the protesters knowledge. There can't be any solution for this because Trump is already our president elect and has previously declared his proclamation to the United States, but he can compromise with his non supporters to have a negotiable
